The choice was between a black dude and a white lady.

I love America. I mean, doesn't that blow your mind just a little bit? Dem/Repub... whatever. There are two viable candidates for President of gender/race that we have NEVER had before. I kinda had made up my mind already, but when I'm standing there in front of the machine, looking at the names, being Southern and proud... it's just a little bit of a shock. Is this an indicator that sex/race disparities are over and done with? I don't think so, but things are different now. I vote for change. Shake shit up.

Based on the demographic of quickest rising populations, it's weird not to see a major latino candidate by now, but that's certainly coming.
I love the fact that the way things are shaping up at this point, no matter which party takes it, the winner will be someone I have the potential of "living with", assuming that Romnoid clone continues to slip...

So, this morning on NPR, a lady says that she voted for Hillary because she has a chance to make history. UM, wouldn't a black president of the USA be a history maker????
